Joe Vincenza, director of content and operations at WUWF in Pensacola, Florida, retired November 6, according to Current’s personnel report.
In an email quoted by Current, Vincenza reflected on a career serving local communities. He joined WUWF in 2000 as program director and has worked in public radio since 1984.
WUWF’s biography corroborates that career history and describes responsibilities spanning programming and technical quality. The station’s site also carries his music commentary and album retrospectives.
