CAPE COD, Mass. — Salt Air Media has reached an agreement to acquire three Cape Cod FM stations and the CapeCod.com digital operation from CCB Media, expanding its local audio and digital footprint in the market.
The transaction covers WQRC-FM 99.9 in Barnstable, WKPE-FM 103.9 in South Yarmouth and WOCN-FM 104.7 in Orleans. Salt Air says it expects to assume control around November 30, subject to the required regulatory process.
The properties would join Salt Air’s existing Cape Cod radio holdings and create a broader local-media operation spanning broadcast, streaming, digital advertising and community-focused content.
Terms had not been publicly disclosed as of September 28. Because the station transfer remains subject to Federal Communications Commission approval, RNN is treating the deal as announced but not yet closed.
