Society of Broadcast Engineers Adds Andrew Sveum as Marketing and Growth Director

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — The Society of Broadcast Engineers, or SBE, has hired Andrew Sveum as its marketing and growth director.

The new position is an initiative of the organization’s strategic plan, according to Radio World’s October 5 report.

Sveum brings experience in nonprofit leadership, business ownership, marketing, grant research and partnership development. He founded Freedom Rising, a nonprofit supporting vulnerable communities primarily in Bangladesh.

SBE says the position reflects its efforts to expand its reach, strengthen member engagement and support long-term growth.
