VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA — Rogers Sports & Media has relaunched CKKS-FM as Kiss West Coast, replacing the approximately year-old Kiss Throwbacks presentation with a broader gold-based contemporary-hit format.
The station now combines current hits, recurrent titles and its previous throwback library under the position “The Biggest Hits, The Best Throwbacks.” The format reaches Vancouver through CKKS-FM-2 at 104.9, Abbotsford at 92.5 and Chilliwack at 107.5.
Toronto-based Roz & Mocha return to mornings, while Jonny Staub remains the primary local personality. Other dayparts originate from Rogers stations elsewhere in Canada.
CKKS will also become the Vancouver Canucks’ radio flagship for the 2026–27 season following Rogers’ shutdown of Sportsnet 650 CISL. The company has not explained how game broadcasts will affect the new music schedule.
