Rich McLaughlin has been named general manager of Fordham University’s WFUV in New York. The station’s current staff directory confirms his title.
Radio Online reports that McLaughlin had served as interim general manager since July 2026. His connection to WFUV began as a Fordham student before a career spanning terrestrial and digital broadcasting.
The appointment places him in charge of the public radio station’s operations and continued development.
The leadership change also connects two parts of WFUV’s work: music discovery for listeners and practical broadcasting experience for students.
