MADRID, Spain — Mónica de la Fuente has been named chief executive of AEQ, becoming the first woman to lead the manufacturer of broadcast consoles, automation systems and intercom technology.
De la Fuente succeeds Ignacio Alonso and brings more than a decade of experience inside the company to the position.
Her appointment places an experienced internal executive at the center of AEQ’s next phase as broadcasters weigh conventional hardware, software-defined infrastructure and remote production.
