Jay-Z will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on February 14, 2027, the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced October 26.

The performance at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, will reach audiences through ABC, ESPN and Disney+, with mobile viewing through NFL+. The NFL’s announcement also lists Spanish-language coverage on ESPN Deportes and Disney+, plus a separate Univision presentation.

The booking moves Jay-Z from a role shaping the league’s entertainment strategy to its most prominent performance slot. Roc Nation has worked with the NFL on halftime productions and entertainment since 2019, as Barrett Media notes.

A music event with several routes to the audience

For broadcasters and music programmers, the immediate story is the combination of a major catalog artist and distribution across free broadcast television, subscription television and streaming. Those outlets give stations several editorial angles: the music, the production and the changing ways audiences watch a shared live event.

Guest performers and a set list have not been announced in the material reviewed. Audience totals and commercial results will have to wait for the performance; the booking itself does not establish either.
