SYDNEY, New South Wales, Australia — James Willis will take over 2GB Drive while Clinton Maynard moves to Money News and becomes Tapt Media’s national news director.
The changes, reported October 2 with statements from company management, begin October 5.
Willis moves from Money News to the weekday 3–6 p.m. Drive program. Maynard will host Money News nationally from 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday while overseeing news strategy across 2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR.
Tapt Media has also promoted Penny Ghosn to head of digital growth, overseeing distribution outside the company’s own platforms and working with its radio and podcast operations.
The appointments combine an on-air schedule change with responsibilities for news leadership and digital audience development.
