SEATTLE, Washington — Hubbard has launched Bull Classics on KKNW-AM 1150 and KPNW-FM’s HD2 channel at 98.9.
The company’s October 2 announcement identifies a classic-country format featuring artists including George Strait, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Shania Twain and Toby Keith.
The service complements the contemporary-country programming of 98.9 The Bull, giving Hubbard separate outlets for current releases and familiar catalog recordings.
President and market manager Nick Beyer said the company wants its 98.9 offerings to serve listeners seeking either today’s country songs or the artists and records they have followed for years.
