GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN — Lanser Broadcasting has named Abbi Hess general manager of Joy99 and JoyWorship, its Christian-music services in western Michigan.
Hess joined the company in 2016 and represents the third generation of the founding family to oversee the operation. Her responsibilities include WJQK-FM and WPNW-AM as the organization manages both its broadcast stations and digital worship service.
The appointment places a familiar internal leader in charge while preserving a multigenerational ownership and community-service tradition.
