AUSTIN, TEXAS — Mike Warren has retired from FOX 7 Austin after a 37-year television-news career, including 22 years at the station.
Warren anchored the weekday 5, 6, 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts and produced the station’s “Care Force” reports highlighting veterans and organizations serving military families.
FOX 7 marked his departure during its September 10 newscast. Warren said he is looking forward to additional time with his wife and family, travel and golf.
The retirement belongs in RNN’s People on the Move coverage now. Once Warren settles into his next chapter, his experiences and continuing activities could make him a strong candidate for a future Where Are They Now? profile.
