PHOENIX, Arizona — Steve Berthiaume will not return as the Arizona Diamondbacks’ television play-by-play announcer in 2027, ending a 14-season relationship with the team.
Barrett Media’s October 6 report includes statements from Berthiaume and team president Derrick Hall, reported through The Arizona Republic.
Berthiaume joined the Diamondbacks television operation in 2013. His departure creates a significant opening in the team’s broadcast booth.
A replacement has not been announced. RNN will report the successor when the team confirms its plans.
