BUFFALO, New York — Cumulus Media has promoted Mike Sheffield to program director of WGRF/97 Rock in Buffalo while he continues programming WQHZ/Z102.3 in Erie, Pennsylvania.
The expanded assignment gives Sheffield responsibility for two rock brands in neighboring markets. He will retain his Erie programming duties while taking leadership of the Buffalo station.
The move is another example of radio groups extending experienced programmers across multiple markets and brands.
