Worldwide News Network has named Brandon Ison vice president of news and operations, according to Barrett Media’s October 23 report, which says the outlet confirmed the appointment.
Ison joined the Red Apple Media-owned network at its May launch. He takes over the position previously held by Lee Harris, who left earlier this year.
Before joining the network, Ison spent nearly seven years as an anchor and reporter at Chicago’s WBBM Newsradio and previously worked at Alpha Media. The appointment places him in charge of news and operations as the network develops its service.
