HOUSTON, Texas — KHOU-TV managing editor Bill Bishop is retiring after 42 years at the station and a 47-year career in Houston journalism.
Bishop’s work spanned hurricanes, floods, investigations and major civic events, making him part of the institutional memory behind decades of local coverage.
He plans to devote more time to his health, family, travel and photography. His transition also makes him a strong future candidate for RNN’s “Where Are They Now?” series.
