LONDON — Angela Scanlon will become the new weekday Drivetime host on BBC Radio 2 beginning in November.
Scanlon will take the 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. slot after presenting the program during the summer. She previously hosted Radio 2’s Sunday early-breakfast show from 2018 to 2021 and has also worked at Virgin Radio UK.
The appointment fills the Drivetime opening created after Sara Cox moved to the Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
