Radio X has added Welsh broadcaster Steve Jones to its United Kingdom weekend schedule, with a Sunday morning program scheduled to begin October 4.
The former Channel 4 T4 presenter’s slot runs from 8 to 11 a.m. local time and features the station’s indie, rock and alternative music.
Global announced the appointment ahead of the launch. Radio X Managing Editor Matt Deverson cited Jones’ broadcasting experience, musical interest and humor.
The appointment concerns the television presenter, rather than the Sex Pistols guitarist of the same name.
