Curtis Media Group’s WQDR in Raleigh has named Jenn Lopez co-host of the Q Morning Crew alongside Mike Wheless.
The November 6 appointment brings Lopez from Orlando, where she most recently co-hosted mornings at Audacy’s WOMX. RAMP and Country Aircheck reported the move.
Lopez succeeds Amanda Daughtry, who left WQDR in June. Her earlier experience includes country station WOTW and Top 40 WQMP in the Orlando market.
The hire pairs Wheless with a broadcaster whose background spans country and contemporary formats as Curtis refreshes the Raleigh station’s morning lineup.
