PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — SportsNet Pittsburgh has extended studio host Dan Potash’s contract, keeping a familiar voice in its Penguins coverage.
The October 1 announcement says Potash will continue anchoring pregame and postgame programming and hosting additional Penguins-focused shows.
He will also help chronicle the franchise’s 60th-anniversary season through game coverage, original programming and special features.
Potash joined the Pittsburgh regional sports operation in 2000 and began working as the Penguins’ rinkside reporter in 2005 before becoming lead studio host.
The announcement did not disclose the extension’s duration or financial terms.
