The National Federation of Community Broadcasters, or NFCB, has named Serah Mead and Gretchen Aston-Puckett co-directors effective January 1, 2027. Rima Dael will conclude her service as chief executive at the end of December.
In its October 1 announcement, the community-radio association said the loss of Corporation for Public Broadcasting support prompted a staffing model aligned with recurring revenue. The board says the organization is financially sound and will retain its focus on direct member service. The transition establishes a two-person permanent staff.
