ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS — Mike Kellar will join Mid-West Family Broadcasting’s country station WRTB, 95.3 The Bull, as brand manager and afternoon host beginning October 5.
Kellar previously spent seven years at KBEQ, Q104, in Kansas City, including six years in mornings. Earlier positions included mornings and music-director responsibilities at KTXY in Columbia, Missouri.
The appointment fills a programming-leadership position that had been open since Gordon Mays departed in November 2024. The station has not announced whether Kellar plans additional lineup or music changes.
