Audacy will wind down Creator Lab on November 1, requiring podcasters hosted on the platform to prepare a migration and complete any necessary RSS redirects.

Creator Lab combined free hosting, distribution tools, automated advertising and a brand-sponsorship marketplace. Audacy told partners that active campaign deliverables must be completed and submitted by November 1 and said eligible earnings from completed campaigns will be paid under existing terms.

For independent creators, the deadline is not only about selecting another host. A safe migration requires backups of every audio file and show note, analytics exports, a tested RSS redirect, verification in Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and written confirmation of any open advertiser obligations.

The larger lesson

Hosting, measurement, distribution and monetization are different functions even when one vendor bundles them. Creators should maintain independent copies of their catalog and understand how to leave a platform before an announced shutdown turns continuity into an emergency.
